A project involving the hardware design and software development of a quadrupedal robot. The system was built using a combination of an NVIDIA Jetson Nano, OpenCR controller, Intel RealSense D435i camera, and Dynamixel actuators. The Jetson Nano serves as the main onboard computer, handling high-level processing such as perception and navigation. The RealSense D435i provides depth and visual data for obstacle detection and environment understanding. The OpenCR board is used for low-level control and communication with the Dynamixel actuators, which drive the robot’s joints with precise motion control. This integrated hardware setup enables the quadrupedal robot to perform stable locomotion, obstacle avoidance, and autonomous navigation in indoor environments.
